Volunteer with North Union Farmers Market!

Join Our Volunteer Team and Make a Local Impact! 🌿✨

North Union Farmers Market is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting local farmers with consumers through our network of 10 farmers markets across Greater Cleveland. We also run food education programs like Mighty Locavores and support food access initiatives to make fresh, healthy food available to all.

Volunteers are the heart of our markets! Whether you’re setting up tents, assisting with community programs, or helping at our biggest event of the year—the Cleveland Garlic Festival—your time and energy help strengthen local farms, support small businesses, and build a healthier community.

Ways to Get Involved:

🌱 Market Setup & Cleanup: Help set up tents, tables, and signage before the market opens and assist with takedown afterward. Great for active volunteers!

📊 Market Attendance Tracking: We’ll train you to count visitors, an essential part of securing grants and tracking market success.

🍎 Mighty Locavores (Kids’ Food Education): Help teach kids about healthy eating and local food at Shaker Square Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

💳 Food Access Programs: Assist SNAP, WIC, and Senior Coupon customers at the Market Information Tent, helping process EBT transactions and ensuring fresh food is accessible to all.

🧄 Cleveland Garlic Festival: Be part of our biggest FUNdraiser of the year! Volunteers get three weekend passesand can help with setup, tear-down, or event activities.
