More Than a Van

In April 2025, North Union Farmers Market lost a vital part of our operation when our market van was destroyed in an act of arson. This vehicle wasn’t just transportation—it was the backbone of our market days. It carried everything we needed: tents, tables, signage, and essential equipment not only for our team, but also for vendors who rely on us to help make their participation possible.

Even more critically, the van itself served as a key safety barricade—protecting our markets and the families who shop with us each week.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to replace this essential vehicle and get back on the road—keeping our markets open, safe, and fully equipped for both farmers and shoppers.

We are deeply grateful to all the individuals and organizations who came together to support us in this time of need. Your donations helped us do more than replace a van—you helped sustain our mission, support small local farms, and keep fresh food accessible across Cleveland.
