The Crocker Park Market
In a new state-of-the-art “lifestyle center,” this market is humming and filled to capacity. A gently curved walkway guides you past farms from nine counties. It’s become a place for locals to “meet and greet,” from the mayor to little girls just out of dance class. A constant refrain is “at last the West side has equity with the East side!”
Crocker Park's Mange Urban Gardening Program
Crocker Park has built a special urban garden to be part of the market area! To find out more about the project which incorporates a green roof, rain water collection, and organic compost, visit their blog or website. Product from the garden will be donated to the Plant a Row project in conjunction with the Master Gardeners. Have extra produce from your garden? Bring it to the market to donate!
